Petting zoo
Hauser Kaibling is an animal kingdom! With around 800 sheep on the mountain and our petting zoo at 1,424 meters above sea level, you can experience the animal world up close and make friends with our gentle inhabitants such as goats, sheep, rabbits and many other animals. The petting zoo is a real highlight, especially for families with children. Spend relaxing hours surrounded by nature and enjoy the fresh mountain air while watching the animals on their fun adventures or stroking them lovingly. Our tip: Keep an eye out for our shepherd who looks after the sheep with his herding dog throughout the summer.
Please note that our animals also need rest and relaxation. We ask our guests to respect this and give the animals the space they need. Respectful treatment ensures that everyone, visitors and animals alike, can enjoy their stay to the full.
