Sensation in Schladming: TENACIOUS D perform their only concert in Europe

The legendary Planai Winter Opening is taking it to the next level. On 4^th December, four top stars make up an incredible festival line-up. And an exceptional sensation awaits all the fans: Tenacious D will be performing their exclusive European concert in Schladming. Also taking to the stage will be newcomers of the year, Bilderbuch, top DJ Fritz Kalkbrenner, and Austria’s very own Christina Stürmer. Tickets are now available.

Tenacious D – exclusively in Europe

Planai’s huge highlight on the 4^th December is a European exclusive: US American comedy rock duo, Tenacious D with Jack Black and Kyle Gass lead the entertainment for one night only. Highly acclaimed in their home country of the USA, the two musicians are now worldwide superstars, touring since February 2015. And now they’re coming to Schladming. Exclusively.

Bilderbuch, Fritz Kalkbrenner & Christina Stürmer

They are the newcomers of the year! It’s taken Austrian band Bilderbuch ten years to become an overnight success, but 2015 is their year. With their album Schick Schock, the band, with lead singer Maurice Ernst lauded as the new Falco, flew to the top the charts in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

International DJ Fritz Kalkbrenner has dancefloors jumping worldwide. In Canada, USA, Germany, France, and Eastern Europe, clubs light up as Fritz Kalkbrenner’s soul-filled voice mixed with DJ beats bring the party with tracks like Get a life, Sky and Sand, or Back home. And on 4^th December, he will thrill the crowd in Schladming.

What would Austrian music be without her brilliant voice? Upper-Austrian Christina Stürmer has ruled the charts after her breakthrough in 2005, with the song Ich lebe. Her recent hit Was wirklich bleibt and her Best of Album dominated the charts for months. And her role in the TV show Sing meinen Song – das Tauschkonzert took Christina Stürmer’s success to the top of the German chats, too.
